Roger Legacy

In the early seventies, Roger won the privilege to perform live at the opening of Ontario Place. This was the confirmation he needed to take songwriting seriously.   Roger describes his art this way: "My day is interrupted by an idea which unfolds itself as I follow it along, through time, places, people and events". When the song is complete he then shares his documented experiences through the realms of music.

It's a journey of twists and turns. With confidence Roger finally returns with his heartfelt story.  For the heart is the writer's lamp. It's an exciting process and it's different every time.

RPR - Ritchie/Parrish/Ritchie

They rocked the folk/roots music scene as the rhythm section of Tanglefoot, now Rob Ritchie, Al Parrish and Steve Ritchie have re-connected as RPR. Along with dynamic percussionist Beaker Granger, the new configuration affords the four veteran performers the opportunity to stretch their wings, indulging in musical whims and creating a memorable experience of arresting music, stories, laughter and reminiscence. It's light and shade, irreverent and poignant, gentle as a whisper and rampantly energetic.

And whether it's an original country song of Al's, Steve's recollection of a Robert Plant version of an old Dylan tune or Rob's incisive musical humour, all the trademark harmony, the chemistry, the impact ...are all there.
